Scintillation Increase Induced by Focusing (Invited)

چکیده
We show that the focusing of a random electromagnetic beam by lens gives rise to scintillation index at geometrical focus generally differs from incident beam. In examples we present, produces significant increase index. This observation is particular relevance for optical communication systems in which major cause signal degradation.
